Approval is product-specific
A regulator approves a defined product for defined uses after reviewing evidence on quality, safety and effectiveness. Approval of one peptide does not validate another peptide—or an unapproved version of the same ingredient from a different source.
Research status means uncertainty
A molecule may be investigated in laboratories or clinical trials without being an approved treatment. Animal findings are useful for forming hypotheses but often do not predict human benefit, toxicity or a safe exposure.
Language to treat cautiously
Phrases such as “research use only”, “not for human consumption”, “pharmaceutical grade” or “lab tested” do not create medicine approval. A certificate of analysis cannot by itself establish sterility, identity across every vial or clinical suitability.
